Principles in practice

We would rather show a principle than state it.

  1. Continuity

    Coming back should never mean starting over.

    A collection holds only its current situation and the one next thing. That is the first thing you read when you return, so the context is already rebuilt for you.

  2. Restraint

    One screen, one clear thing to do.

    The empty home offers a single primary action. Search, filters and settings stay quiet until they are needed.

  3. Craft

    Honesty is a detail too.

    Records are saved on the device first. The product says so plainly, explains what clearing browser data would do, and offers a JSON backup.

NC JoNi Koi is founder-led and independent. We begin with software because it is where we can prove our standards today, and we intend to carry the same care into everything we make.
